[Concert Review] KCON LA 2019: The Ultimate K-Pop Wonderland – A Weekend of Unforgettable Moments
If there was ever a time to truly live the K-pop dream, it was KCON LA 2019. From the incredible rookie stages to surprise idol interactions, Hi-Touches, and unbelievable performances, this weekend was non-stop adrenaline, music, and pure K-pop euphoria.
Going into KCON LA, I already knew the lineup was insane—LOONA, IZ*ONE, Stray Kids, Seventeen, ITZY, Mamamoo, N.Flying, iKON, and so many more. But nothing could have prepared me for just how surreal this weekend would be.
Because KCON LA 2019? More like LOONACON 2019 for me.

🎶 The Rookies: Where New K-Pop Stars Shine
One of my favorite parts of KCON LA is always the rookie stage, where newer groups get to showcase their talentup close and personal. Some of these idols were just starting out, and now, years later, they’re some of the biggest names in K-pop!
LOONA was the reason I got VIP tickets, and let me tell you—it was worth every single penny. When they performed "Cocoon," I was right there, up close, taking in every moment. The energy, their stage presence, and their visuals were all next level. Seeing Heejin and Jinsoul right in front of me was a core memory unlocked. Not only were they insanely beautiful in person, but they actually let me take photos—I was in complete shock!
💥 LOONA Meet & Greet: The Most Unreal Experience Ever
This one still doesn’t feel real. At the LOONA meet & greet, they had an Oreo event where they interacted with fans, and by some miracle, I ended up in a section where they ALL gave me a Hi-Touch. I still can’t process it.
And then, the actual moment that shattered my brain into a million pieces—Heejin kissed my phone. Heejin. Kissed. My. Phone. I might still be in denial that this actually happened. This is a memory that will live rent-free in my head for eternity.
And if that wasn’t enough, I got a video selfie with LOONA—proof that this wasn’t just a dream.

💖 SEVENTEEN – The Kings of Hype and "Aju Nice" Madness
When it comes to fan interaction, SEVENTEEN never disappoints. And let’s talk about "Aju Nice"—because we did it MULTIPLE TIMES and it only got crazier every round. The members were hyping the crowd up so much, and it felt like the entire venue was shaking from how much energy ONCEs, Carats, and K-pop fans combined had in that moment. Pure serotonin.
🤘 N.Flying – Rocking the KCON Stage
Okay, but N.Flying? Underrated legends. The way they OWNED the stage with live instruments and just pure rock energy had me questioning why I wasn’t already a hardcore fan. Their mix of rock and K-pop created one of the most unique performances of the night.
🐰 fromis_9 – The Cutest Energy Ever
fromis_9 completely stole my heart. I didn’t realize how infectious their stage presence was until I saw them absolutely owning their choreography while looking like they were having the time of their lives. Their charisma and fun personalities made me a full-on flover that night.
⚡ Stray Kids – 100% Fire
Stray Kids. Enough said. Their performance was an explosion of power from start to finish. The moment "Miroh"started, the entire arena lost its mind. Seeing Bang Chan, Hyunjin, Felix, and the whole squad command the stage like born rockstars was absolutely jaw-dropping.
🎤 Mamamoo – The Vocal Queens Take Over
And then there was Mamamoo. The vocals were unreal. Hwasa’s stage presence alone had everyone losing their minds—and when she got close to our section, I swear time stopped for a second. Their entire performance was sophisticated, powerful, and vocally perfect—Mamamoo doesn’t perform, they dominate.
💃 ITZY – The Monster Rookies Prove Their Power
Seeing ITZY live at this stage of their career was legendary. The choreography was insane, the energy was through the roof, and "DALLA DALLA" had the entire arena screaming along. The charisma, the presence, the IT-factor—they had it all.
